Terms of service
Booking Information
We kindly request that you keep to the booking time requested. If you are unavoidably late, please contact us as we may only be able to hold your table for 15 minutes. After this time, we reserve the right to give your table away unless we are contacted in advance.
Each session is booked for a set duration â please be ready to finish promptly at the end of your allotted time so we can prepare for the next group. If youâd like longer, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance and weâll do our best to accommodate you.
Please note that we reserve the right to change our opening and closing times to suit business needs. Updates to our opening times are posted on our website and Google profile. By making a payment to Wick & Ceramic, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel or change your booking, please let us know at your earliest convenience.
If youâve booked and canât make it, let us know at least 72 hours in advance and weâll happily reschedule your session for a future date, subject to availability.
Please note that bookings can only be rescheduled once.
If you contact us less than 72 hours before your booking, youâre welcome to send someone in your place instead. Please notify us of their name by phone or email so we can update your booking.
Deposits are non-refundable outside of these times.
This policy excludes childrenâs half-term and holiday camps, as well as birthday parties and private events â once a deposit has been paid for these, it is final and non-refundable.
In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking, weâll offer you the choice to reschedule or receive a full refund.
We also reserve the right to end a session early if equipment or materials are being misused â in such cases, no refund will be provided.
Private Events & Parties
All private events and childrenâs birthday parties are booked for a set group size.
If fewer guests attend on the day than originally booked, the full amount for the agreed number of participants will still be charged.
Birthday party packages are priced âup to 10 childrenâ â this fixed price applies regardless of the final number of attendees.
Damage & Breakages
Please handle all pottery, tools, and studio equipment with care.
Accidental damage or breakages to unfinished or finished pieces may incur a small replacement fee at our discretion.
Supervision of Children
Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times. Our team are always on hand to help and guide, but we cannot take responsibility for unsupervised minors.
Alcohol & BYOB Policy
Youâre welcome to bring your own drinks to our Pottery & Prosecco Nights.
We kindly ask that all guests drink responsibly and respect others in the studio.
We reserve the right to refuse service or end a session early if behaviour becomes disruptive.
Payments & Pricing
All prices include glazing and firing unless stated otherwise.
Payment is due at the time of booking or at the end of your session.
Prices may change without prior notice but will always be confirmed at the point of booking.
Studio Etiquette & Clean-Up
We ask all guests to treat the studio and materials with care. Please return brushes, palettes, and tools after use.
This helps us keep the space clean and ready for the next creative session.
Photography & Social Media
We love seeing your creations! Feel free to take photos of your work and tag us at @wickandceramic.
Parents are welcome to take photos during sessions â especially during childrenâs Wheel Throwing Experiences â but video recording is not permitted.
Occasionally, we may take photos during sessions for our social media and website. Please let us know if youâd prefer not to be included.
Pottery Collection Policy
We will contact you once your pottery is ready for collection. You will then have 12 weeks to collect your finished pieces.
Due to limited storage space, any items not collected within this timeframe will be disposed of or recycled at our discretion.
Allergen Information
For bookings that include food or drink, please notify us of any allergies prior to visiting.
As we use shared equipment in a busy environment, some dishes may not be suitable for those with severe allergies.
We cannot guarantee that the 14 main allergens will not be present â therefore, if you have a severe allergy, we recommend you do not eat.
For bookings where you bring your own food or drink, please note you are responsible for checking the dietary and allergy requirements of your guests.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers can be purchased in the studio and redeemed against any booking or event (subject to availability).
All gift vouchers have a 12-month expiry from the date of purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Liability Disclaimer
All activities are undertaken at your own risk. Wick & Ceramic is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings, or for injuries sustained through misuse of equipment or materials.
Mobile Terms of Service:
The Wick & Ceramic mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Wick & Ceramic (âWick & Ceramicâ, âweâ, or âusâ). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (âMobile Termsâ). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
By consenting to Wick & Ceramicâs SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Wick & Ceramic through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Wick & Ceramic. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to WickCeramic or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Wick & Ceramic mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honouring requests made in such messages.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
